Summer School

Since the summer of 2001, DTC have been running successful summer schools all over the country. From Pwllheli in north west Wales, to Whitby in North Yorkshire, our summer schools have been sold out each year. The week long school takes place in the summer holidays and is an exciting and fun project for children interested in all aspects of theatre. Children enjoy singing, dance and drama classes and the week culminates in a short performance for family and friends.

Our recent summer schools have consisted of songs from such musicals as 'Grease', 'Fame', 'Mamma Mia', 'Chicago', and many more!!

The classes are taught by an experienced team of professional actors/teachers in a relaxed and fun environment. All DTC teachers are CRB checked.

Whether in a starring role or a supporting cast member, all the children feel a great sense of achievement and bonding together with a newfound confidence

Children of all abilities are welcome from ages 7 - 16.

The DTC summer school can be individually tailored to meet the theatre/venue's requirements.

DTC handle all administrations and registration of pupils.
